IPOH TRIP DAY 4

9th February 2015
Today is our last day in Ipoh. We check out at 8.45am, and direct heading to Ipoh old town have our lunch at there-Telur Goyang.


We visit plan B building again, but this time we can enter the private place, the hotel room. The owners bring us to look around the hotel room, shows that how they renovate the building but without destroyed their characteristic. 
There is their dorm and communal area is establish style, and they have big opening so won't feel hot when you live inside.

They have a big landscape at the wall.

Here is their family room and studio for couple. All the material they use for it is close with environment. and the lighting make I feel the space is very comfortable, maybe next time I come Ipoh travel with my family I will choose here to live for few day.

There is roof top swimming pool for guest. 

And also seating area beside the swimming pool.

Can recognize which one is Miss Shamilah? and others in my classmate, I think they tired ady.

Another new hotel in Plan B is under construction.

Every room have an opening at ceiling, it is for the ventilation.

On top of the roof, they have extend up small attic for the whole building ventilation.

The owner showing us the hair cut shop history, the hair cut shop is start from his father generation. 

 There is the hair cut shop at down stairs the interesting thing for this hair cut shop is he won’t directly charge the money from you. He just put a box at there and let you decided how much you want to give.

After we go to another hotel, also under Plan B. At there can feel the special design in the space.
Is good for gathering with friends, is RM 300 per night. 


They also apply roof top farming. The owner told them there is a lot of problem need to solve for roof top farming. The first half year nothing can grow in the land, because it is something like plant in a big pot, need to think about many problems on it. How much the roof can support. 

Our design project also doing urban building, so our lecturer bring us to visit here make as our president studies. We learn alot from the owner, before that i doesn't know that roof top farming need to consider so many thing.

 They apply GBI system in their building also, like rain water harvesting system.

This is per light, they use to decrease the weight of soil. Mix it together with the soil.

We also go to the Kellie’s castle to exploring the space. I heard that before Kellie's castle is a very famous ghost castle, luckily we go on afternoon, the sun so shine, I think even ghost also don't want to come out.

Our last station is Tin Mining Museum, I think is for us to understand the history of Ipoh. We look around all the machine and also the mining process.





























9pm we reached our university, and go back by ourselves.


In the whole trip, Ipoh gave me a strong feeling is slow motion live style. They enjoyed their life, compare with Kuala Lumpur is more comfortable. and their food is very delicious, i am sure for that i will not forget ipoh food in the rest of my life
