Experimental Symphony Center

I'm in my semester 5 design project. We use St Mary Cathedral Church, which state in KL, we renovated it became a experimental music center.
I choose symphony became my music.
My first project is Propaganda poster to awareness people the important of the unity, my issue is in this new generation, most of the young people are more independent, some time they do not concern about what happen beside of them. My concept is UNITY, inspiration from symphony they have a conductor to lead the whole group to produce a nice song, it shows the benefit of group work.

I use all the notes to make the conductor's hand. to show the power of unity. the small notes means all the people when they unite together can produce a excellent thing.

Second project we explain our concept and conceptual model in the board.

I put my organization chart inside also, total is 28 workers inside my experimental center.

Here is my conceptual model, I use stick to build up a strong structure. cannot lost any part in the structure or else the structure will collapse, shows the important of group work. The iron ring show the people, and the iron chain is shows the connection between human. 

This is my conceptual space model, it shows how i apply my concept in to my space. 

The last project is my final presentation, i prepare 4 A0 size presentation board for my final presentation, I apply 2 section, 3 plan, 1 exploded drawing, 4 elevation, 1 exterior drawing, 5 perspective for my final presentation board. My client is Malaysia Philharmonic Orchestra (MPO). they are the most famous symphony organization in Malaysia. In my ground floor and mezzanine floor more to public area and first floor is privacy area.

Penang Trip

Day 4
Our last day in Penang. We bring our group member to visit the street art we already experienced in Day 2. We also buy some souvenir for our friend and keep as memory. We check out from our hostel at 11am.

The last day, I go for my precedent study which is Purrfect Cat Cafe just right in front of our hostel.

Cat cafe is quite common at foreign country but it is still new in Malaysia.

 The ground floor of the cat cafe is a souvenir shop. All the thing they sell inside the shop are related with cat.

  Here is order counter, if you want to experience cat cafe need to order at here, the cat cafe at upstairs.Before going upstairs we need to take off our shoes.

There is a shoes rack for us to put our shoes.

 Here we are, the cat cafe, as the picture shows, there is siting and drinking area.

There is their Bar counter, our drinks made at there.

Here is the room special for cat,  we need to wash our hand before enter the room. 

They also introduce their cat at the board. Every cat have it's own name. They are like superstar!!!

Their recommendation to customer for cat's food.

Here they are, our drinks. Even their drinks also look nicely.

 Now I'm enter the cat room, inside there is another room special for cat only, human cannot enter it. I think it is for cat to relax inside the room.

There are a lot of space for cats. Cats are active and like to jump or hide inside a small space. The design is very good for cats.

 The sofa is on the ground, people can sit at there to play with cat, but most of the cat won't come down let you touch them, you need to go in front of them to touch them.

 Inside the box is cat's toys. Customers can use it play with cats.

The air filter machine is needed inside the space, it will filter all the bad smell inside the space.

I really enjoy and relax inside the cat cafe. I like their cats very much! Even their drinks also delicious.If I come to Penang again in future, for sure I will visit Purrfect Cat Cafe again.

After that we go to the Camera Museum. It is just beside with Purrfect Cat Cafe.

 This is their Bar counter, we order some drinks or delight at here. It consider as small cafe. The cafe counter and the tables and chairs are all wooden made.

At the drinking area you can see that there is a board for customers write their feedback at here.

After visit the Camera Museum we decide go back to Kuala Lumpur. We leave Muntri street by taxi for around 10 minutes and take ferry to bus stop buy the bus ticket.

While waiting for the bus, we take our lunch at bus stop. That is the last food we have in Penang.

After 6 hour journey by bus, we finally reached Kuala Lumpur, We are exhausted and dragging our tired body go back our house. We experienced 4 days 3 night in Penang, is a special experience for me. Because I never been there before. We facing a lot of trouble during the trip but luckily we solve all the problem. Is tired but at the same time we are happy and having fun. Our trip to penang is memorable and amazing. I wish i will be visiting there in future.
